YourStory is a journey of an Indian girl who borns in a small town of Bihar and grew up in Patna. At that time, due to the frequent dowry demands from the bride’s family for the groom’s family in marriage, seeded the thought of having girl child as a liability to the family or we can say that the reason for the tension of the family.
Shraddha was a topper student in school days and debate society. Despite her father’s drinking habit that disturbed their family, she learned everything about the world from him.
Her father was in the Merchant Navy, who got an education in England and also was a topper in his academics. She always dreamt about writing great stories and share them with the world.
She always wanted to be the girl as a result of her decision not from the circumstances which lead her at that position that was appreciated by her parents for her independent thinking.
In 1997 she moved to Delhi from Patna for higher studies where she joined the St. Stephen’s college in the history department and completed her bachelor’s and master’s degree.
After completing her college, she chose journalism as a carrier to fulfill her dream of writing great stories of India. While working as a journalist for the previous company, she reached to many young entrepreneurs performing great work for their Startup in India.
Unfortunately, there was no one to tell their story to the world. Therefore, she approached her colleagues to talk about the untold Indian startup story and raised voice to provide them the media coverage.
Still, all her colleagues refused the idea because they were not famous and sensational startups in India that will not help the company to earn money. Hence, she started to write a blog as YourStory about the new startup business in India by young entrepreneurs.

She used her hard-earned experience with the fundamental understanding of running a media channel business and followed that strategy to grow her blog as a Startup.
Shraddha launched the YourStory after putting Rs2 lakh as seed capital and funded YourStory for Seven Year. She was very passionate and hardworking to raise the voice for every Indian startup of young entrepreneurs.
YourStory provided them a platform to show and spread their ideas, products, and services that they are going to provide to the world. After putting so much effort, YourStory as a startup started to grow.

YourStory Funding And Growth
Therefore, in 2015 Shraddha successfully raised investment from some famous industrialists and personalities of India like Ratan Tata, Vani Kola, former Infosys board member T V Mohandas Pai to fund her startup.
YourStory started to attract the people during the year of 2015 to 2017. Finally, YourStory has become the voice of young entrepreneurs by giving them a platform to show their Startup business in India.
